Brogue
Based on a classic brogue but with a twist in the burnishing of the leathers, the toe shape, and large brogueing details.

This is a Cheaney product, so is beautifully made and finished. This is an example of what the Cheaney factory does really well; it’s a classic style in that it is a brown lace up brogue shoe, but the finish on the upper is beautifully hand burnished to give several differnt shades and depth to the shoe, and the brogue punching (brogue just means a hole punched in the leather to make a pattern) is larger than is usually seen making it look a lot more contemporary. The shape of the toe is elegantly rounded with a bit of a snub on top of the toe, and slightly elongated. As ever, if you need a slightly better description or would like to see more photographs of a product then please contact me at the shop! This product is also made in the traditional goodyear welted way, giving comfort and flexibility (once worn in..) and the ability to resole and refurbish as long as the uppers are looked after. Don’t forget leather needs food and drink! (Polish will do.)
